“Reminiscing” was created out of a love for 70s music by Lisa and Spencer Bernard. Lisa (as Lisa Keith) has had a prominent career as a session vocalist for Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis for artists such as Janet Jackson, Herb Alpert,  Human League, and Amy Grant. In 1993, she scored her own top ten hit “Better Than You” which was produced by her husband Spencer. Spencer also wrote songs and did production work for Janet Jackson, New Edition, David Bowie, and others.

Lisa and Spencer took a hiatus from the music business to raise their family, but are now back singing with their own band "Reminiscing",  plus the popular tribute band “I Honestly Love You”, the songs of Olivia Newton-John and Anne Murray.

The Reminiscing band features Bob Johnston on drums and Jim Demgen on keys, two members of Lisa’s band seen on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. We also feature Bill Chouinard on bass and Rich Manik on sax and flute, two local favorites who perform in many of the top Twin Cities bands. Bill also plays with Lisa and Spencer in the “I Honestly Love You” band.

Rounding out our lineup are two stellar vocalists new to the tribute band scene, Scott Pearson and Casey Flynn. Lisa and Spencer love Casey's tenor voice and have sung with him at church for years. Scott and Lisa go all the way back to 1st grade and have harmonized in choirs and other groups since High School. He's one of their favorite singers and they are excited to finally be in a band with him!

Together, “Reminiscing” plays the hits you remember from the later 70s. We emphasize the “one-hit wonders” that you know and love but maybe haven't heard in years. We also recall fun stories and memories that made the 70s such a unique decade.

This is the music we grew up with and love, and we can’t wait to “reminisce” with you!
